Quote of the day: Jack Ma, Founder of Alibaba (of why there are so many women working at Alibaba all the way to the top level)
“if you want to win (successful) in this century, you have to making sure that you empower other people, making sure the other people are better than you, then you will be successful. I found that women think of others more than men do. Women think about their kids, husbands, parents, much more than the men….and they are user friendly.” Haha, user friendly, not sure what he really mean by that but that’s a winner quote.
.
Donald Trump can learn a lot from Jack Ma.

Yesterday, I watched an hour of program on Youtube between the prominent atheist Richard Dawkins interview with Catholic Father George Coyne. It was very enjoyable, deep conversation between the two regarding Faith, Science, Religion views, and the existence of God, fascinating to say the least. I may need to view it again and take actual notes. Then later last night, I watched one hour of documentary on Netflix about Sneakerhead. It’s about people who collects sneakers, the culture and the economy of the sneaker collecting. It is fascinating, but in a very different way. It is almost like the opposite side of the spectrum of how we view our life and what’s important. It still got me thinking, where am I in this spectrum of life. Am I more concerned about the spiritual, philosophical aspect of life, if there is anything beyond our universe, or do I filled my head with materialistic matter to the point that nothing else is significant. I am glad I found both.
United States is about freedom of speech. Our armed men and women of the Force has granted the people that rights with their sacrifice on the battlefield. The right to express our opinion, the right to Vote, and even the right to Stand or SIT during National Anthem. While I respect and understand Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during an opening of the game, I did not agree in how he did it and some probably will not agree with my view. In my opinion, as a civilian and a citizen, you can do so with your given right, but when you donned on a uniform, even if it’s a jersey of your football team, you are representing not of your individual self, but of your team and organization as a whole. When you kneel while wearing your jersey, you disrespect not only the Flag of the United States, but also your Manager, your Coach, your team member, and your fans (not that I am) who did not agree with your way of expression. So Kaepernick, next time you want to kneel during the opening of the game that you will be participating in – remove first your Jersey and then kneel as a man, not as an athlete of a said organization.
A reporter on NBC news said that last night presidential debate 2016 is the most tweeted debate ever. Well....considering twitter were invented in 2006 and did not gain worldwide popularity until around 2012, that means only one other 'new term' presidential debate (2008) can be tweeted and before that, only birds tweet.... So yes sir, you could say that. ;p
Renewable energy is still quite far from being affordable. Hybrid car is getting cheaper but the initial price is still higher to pay up front compared to gasoline powered. Not to mention that the expensive battery (just like any other battery) have a very limited life span and must be replaced if you intent to drive that car beyond your block. Solar panel for your home? Forget about it. In my opinion, for an average user that spend between $40 - $100 a month for electricity, investing in solar panel is not a good move, financially. The upward cost to purchase and installation is still too high. The modest calculation for an average of $75 per month user will take about 20 years to pay it back, to break even. Not to mention maintenance cost, if the panel broke, or defective. The sun has more energy than what we can consume, much more…but only if we can harness it efficiently. The technology is catching up, but not mature yet, not today. So back to fossils fuel, we still have some gazillion dead dinosaurs soup underneath. Suck it up!
