United States is about freedom of speech. Our armed men and women of the Force has granted the people that rights with their sacrifice on the battlefield. The right to express our opinion, the right to Vote, and even the right to Stand or SIT during National Anthem. While I respect and understand Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during an opening of the game, I did not agree in how he did it and some probably will not agree with my view. In my opinion, as a civilian and a citizen, you can do so with your given right, but when you donned on a uniform, even if it’s a jersey of your football team, you are representing not of your individual self, but of your team and organization as a whole. When you kneel while wearing your jersey, you disrespect not only the Flag of the United States, but also your Manager, your Coach, your team member, and your fans (not that I am) who did not agree with your way of expression. So Kaepernick, next time you want to kneel during the opening of the game that you will be participating in – remove first your Jersey and then kneel as a man, not as an athlete of a said organization.
